About Khanya Hospice

Rooted in compassion. Led by service.

Khanya — isiZulu for 'light' — was founded on a simple belief: that every person deserves dignity, comfort, and care in their most vulnerable moments. Our leadership and advisors carry this belief into every home we serve.

Our Story

A light carried into every home.

From humble beginnings, Khanya Hospice has grown into a trusted source of free palliative care across KwaZulu-Natal. We walk alongside families facing HIV, TB, cancer, and life-limiting illness — offering skilled nursing, emotional accompaniment, and the sacred presence of someone who cares.

Our work is guided by a dedicated leadership team and a respected advisory board, all united by one vision: that no one should walk this road alone.
